National Green Building Conference

May 8-10, 2009 Dallas, Texas will hold the NAHB’s National Green Building Conference.  Builders from around the country will gather to tour local “green” homes in the Dallas area, attend education sessions to exchange ideas and learn about the trends from around the country.  The newly approved ICC 700-2008 National Green Building Standard will be explored and thoroughly discussed in classes and in the Buzz Lounge.

The keynote speaker Joel Mokower founder of Greenbiz.com and author of Strategies for the Green Economy will share his thoughts on the future of the home building industry.  Joel is has been in the industry for 20 years and is an expert green business and how it can improve your bottom line.  Builders can also earn their CGP (Certified Green Professional) and Business Management for Building Professionals designations before or after the conference.
