Garden Walk Weekend in Chicagoland
This weekend Chicagoland is hosting an astonishing 14 garden walks in and around the city of Chicago. If you’re thinking of relocating and buying a new or existing home in an unfamiliar market, this can be a great way to acquaint yourself if your looking in one of these Chicagoland Communities.
Garden walks are scheduled in Chicago neighborhoods of Bowmanville, Edgewater, North Park and Roscoe Village. Suburban locals include Elmhurst, Crystal Lake, Woodstock, McHenry, Sycamore, Mundelein, Naperville, Mount Greenwood, Evanston and Long Grove. A few out-lying Chicagoland locations include South Haven, Michigan north of the border in Kenosha and Burlington Wisconsin.
Most events are either free or up to $10 to attend. Naperville’s Chicagoland Daylily Society’s three-day meeting includes two guided bus tours to six Daylily gardens. The meeting includes workshops, clinics and speaker Dr. Darrel Apps, a renowned hybridizer. Tickets for this events are available online.
