Boat & Breakfast at Heritage Harbor of Ottawa
This is a clever way to get people out from Chicago and other parts of the Midwest to a new community in Ottawa: offer potential clients to stay on a yacht in the harbor of your newest development, Heritage Harbor of Ottawa! A slight twist on the bed and breakfast concept, instead spend the night on one of their 30 to 50 foot long yachts.
Oh, and while you’re there, check out the new community on the Illinois River and explore the historic town of Ottawa. Boat and Breakfast, but make sure you eat at Crawdad’s Bar & Grill, one of Heritage Harbor of Ottawa’s dining options just steps from your boat.
Heritage Harbor of Ottawa is a new marine oriented community located about 100 miles southwest of downtown Chicago. All of the boats in Heritage Harbor’s program feature air conditioning, a coffee maker with coffee from LaSalle Street Coffee Roasting Company, and free Wi-Fi. The boats also have private bathroom facilities and showers. Hang out on the deck soaking up the sun while having a drink and ponder the thought of your new home, condo or rowhouse here in Ottawa, away from it all on the water.
The Heritage Harbor offers customers a community that can compliment your primary residence somewhere else in the region. Whatever the reason, maybe just to get away, relax and explore somewhere new, the incentive is an easy sell and reasonably priced starting at $125 for a night. Some boats sleep up to 6 people. Call 815-431-8236 for more information or visit Heritage Harbor Boat and Breakfast.

My family experienced Heritage Harbor’s Boat and Breafast on a beatuiful 36′ Sea Ray. We had great weather and the boat was clean and very nice. If you want to get away for an evening, and are into trying new things, we would definitley recommend this experience and are planning to do it again. The breakfast was classy and the people were friendly. Our kids played games in the cabin while we enjoyed a glass of wine on the bow. We woke up to a cup of coffe the same way. Where else can you do that?
