Dwayne Wade’s New Home In Chicago?
Bulls fans have something to talk about this off season as the former Finals MVP playing for the Miami Heat, gets serious about living in a new townhouse in River North. Reported first by Dennis Rodkin on Deal Estate, Chicago Magazine’s real estate section for famous local residential real estate transactions in Chicagoland, D Wade is getting Bulls-nation excited at the prospect of playing here.
A basketball court with Derrick Rose and Dwayne Wade on it would be one to reckon with and surely conjure up excitement approaching the 1990′s Bulls. Don’t read too much into this as being his new home during the 2009-10 season, remember that Wade grew up in Chicago and probably wants a place near his childhood home and family.
The townhome, reportedly purchased for $1,425,000, down from the $1,699,000 asking price, sits along the Chicago River across from the East Bank Club. A short jaunt from the United Center? Yes…..
