The new Web site utilizes RSS feeds and social networking sites like Facebook. The site’s improved capabilities allow the HBAGFV to constantly update their members and subscribers with important information, including meeting dates and industry-related issues. President of the HBAGFV Brian Haney, who is also president of Innovative Builders, is proud of the new site and it’s ease of use.
“And for the first time, consumers will be able to visit our Web site and learn tips for picking their builder or remodeler. An interactive search tool and a section on available homes for sale will enable consumers to contact builders directly,” said Haney.
The HBAGFV is a comprehensive trade network comprised of professionals affiliated with the home building industry. Its mission is to promote the industry, and encourage the highest professional standards, and provide a forum for the exchange of information. Association members range from home builders, plumbers and Realtors to architects, masons, and printers.
“We are the most competitively priced local association, with dues running only $500 a year after taking advantage of our one-time $50 rebate now in effect through the end of October, 2009,” said Haney.
