NAHB National Green Building Awards
Attention green Chicago real estate developers and builders, local government (that’s you Evanston) advocates or green professional: submit your environmentally friendly home, initiative or contribution to the National Association of Home Builders’ National Green Building Awards!
Award categories include:
- Advocate of the Year (Builder, Remodeler, Individual, Group)
- Advocate of the Year (State or Local Government)
- Green Project(s) of the Year (Single Family, Remodel, Multifamily)
- Green Site Development of the Year
- HBA Green Building Program of the Year (New and Existing)
To be resource friendly (isn’t that what it’s all about) all applications and supporting materials must be submitted electronically on one (1) CD. No print materials will be accepted or reviewed by the judges. To be eligible for the Green Project of the Year category, projects must have been started after June 2008 and substantially completed by December 2009.
Entry deadline is February 3, 2010 and the awards will be announced May 17, 2010 in Raleigh North Carolina. Application fees are as follows:
Advocate of the Year Awards: $100 for NAHB Members and $150 for Non-NAHB Members.
All other Categories: $250 for NAHB Members and $350 for Non-NAHB Members.
