Many buildings are reporting high occupancy rates, and there are forecasts of up to an 8 percent increase in rents this year. Outside Chicago, homeowners are finding they have to lower their prices so much to sell that it makes more sense to rent now and hold out for the housing market to turn around. I’ve been asking around, and the general consensus is that things are beginning to look good, with the season starting to pick up. Also, I’m starting to receive a few leads through the IDX on my site.
