Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) is an internationally recognized green building certification system.

LEED for Homes, the U.S. Green Building Council’s residential rating system that covers major home renovations and new construction, is offering three classes through the month of July that will explain LEED practices.

During the classes, you will learn:

*How LEED homes are healthier, more comfortable and have lower utility bills

*About myths surrounding the green building practice, including costs and complexity

*About the benefits of the LEED for Homes rating system

*About Chicago projects as case studies
