Think you have an eye for decoration? Submit it!

Make It Better, a resource for Chicago’s North Shore online and in print, is hosting its first ever Best Dressed Homes contest.

Each month features a different room or decorating concept. There are only three months left to get your picture in the magazine, so start snapping!

The contest is open to homeowners and professionals on the North Shore, and there is a limit of one entry per e-mail address.

And, if you don’t want to enter, you can still get some great ideas from the contest winners.

Editions:

October: Library/Home Office, Master Bedroom
Entry due: August 9

November: Behind Closed Doors: Best Pantries, Closets and ‘Found’ Rooms
Entry due: September 13

December: Best Dressed Home – overall winner
Entry due: October 11

To Enter:

E-mail your pictures to Bestdressedhomes@makeitbetter.net.

Include:

*One to two photos and the approximate date they were taken

*Your name & phone number

*The name of homeowner (if different than the submitting person)

*Submission for novice or professional category

*Address of home being submitted

*Name of interior decorator (if any)

*Favorite part of the room/area (if any)
