Mural New Source of Pride to Uptown Neighborhood
Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood was just uplifted.
A new mural designed by teenagers was unveiled Saturday at Uplift Community High School, 900 W. Wilson.
The bricolage mosaic, which covers multiple exterior walls of the school, was created over six weeks this summer by After School Matters students involved in the Green Star Movement’s Uplift Bricolage Mural Program.
